Climb aboard the Tucker Seaport Floating Classroom for a day of aquafarming on the Barnegat Bay! Jimmy Allen III from Just Diggin’ It comes from a long line of Baymen who have lived and worked on the Barnegat Bay. Get involved with this traditional occupation with hands-on learning about how it has been sustained through emerging technologies. Everything that is caught will be released back into the Bay. Join us aboard the new Pohatcong II for a scenic, one hour tour of Tuckerton Creek. Captain Dan Woods and a Seaport Summer Education Intern will lead an exploration of our local area and points of interest along the creek. Learn about coastal culture. Ferry Reservations Now Open!
The Tuckerton Seaport/Beach Haven Water Ferry will be operating its first full season this coming summer and in response to popular demand, the reservation website was launched on May 30. While the ferry is free to ride, guests who wish to guarantee their seat by reserving in advance can do so by visiting: www.LBIFerry.com or clicking the 'Reserve Your Seat!' button below.
