Feeling Hungry? We Can Help!

Visiting the Tuckerton Seaport can fill your head with lots of wonderful information about New Jersey’s shores and local culture.  When you’re finished seeing all that the Seaport has to offer, you may want to fill your belly as well.  There are many wonderful local restaurants in the area you might want to check out in your travels.

The Union Market and Gallery at Tuckerton Seaport

The Union Market & Gallery was conceived through a collusion of local female entrepreneurs with a passion for the creative and a devotion to the community.  Being avid arts advocates, we promote working with your hands as a lifestyle, and are fully committed to the establishment of a makers-driven, patron-focused destination.

At The Union Market, our guests can expect an exceptional cup of coffee, all day breakfast & lunch, small bites from a few of the area’s local kitchens, an ever-changing collection of work from talented artisans, and an inviting space in which to enjoy it all.

Naples Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant

For the best pizza and cheesesteaks in town, visit Naples in the Acme shopping center located at 425 W Main Street.  You can also order from a full menu of delicious Italian dishes including eggplant rollatini, paninis, shrimp fra diavolo, and one of our favorites Frank’s grilled chicken sandwich (chicken, provolone, asparagus and roasted red peppers on a Kaiser roll).  Visit Naples Tues – Sun 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. Closed Mon.  (609)-296-1313

Doyle’s Pour House

Located within walking distance from the Seaport at 210 W Main Street, Doyle’s is a great place to relax after a long day walking through the Seaport.  Their full bar and fantastic Irish pub style menu include the best wings around (order them “back on the grill” for an extra special treat!).  Doyle’s is open daily (609)296-3373.  If you are traveling to Barnegat, check out Doyle’s other location at 345 S Main Street, Barnegat!

Mickey’s Port of Call

At Mickey’s Port of Call Pub, they offer great food and drinks at affordable prices. From seafood and steak to burgers and sandwiches, they cook up some of the best food in town. For over 20 years, Tuckerton residents have been meeting up with friends and family at the pub, enjoying a variety of food options, while taking advantage of their full bar.  Mickey’s is open daily.  To learn more about food options and specials, please call (609) 545-2405.

Allen’s Clam Bar

A favorite of Coastal Living Magazine and plenty of happy patrons, Allen’s Clam Bar never disappoints with its menu and friendly service.  This BYOB seafood restaurant has everything your seafood loving self would want: peel and eat shrimp, flounder sandwiches, combination platters, chowders and their famous fried lobster tails to mention a few items.  Allen’s is about 6 miles south of the Seaport at 5650 U.S. 9, New Gretna, but it’s worth the trip.  Call for hours- (609) 296-4106.

Panini Bay

For a slightly more upscale experience including delicious dishes and a beautiful view of the bay, visit Panini Bay at the corner of South Green Street & Parker Road in Tuckerton.  Panini Bay offers a delicious selection of specials every day and their regular menu is gorgeous for both lunch and dinner. Try the grilled bruschetta with fig jam, gorgonzola cheese and prosciutto or the Prince Edward Island mussels.

Open Thursday thru Sunday.  Lunch 11:30am – 4pm, Dinner seating from 4:30pm – 8:30pm, 4:30pm – 10pm Friday & Saturday.  Call ahead for reservations (609) 294-4281

Breezes On the Bass River Bar & Grill

Located in the Viking Yachting Center in New Gretna on the gorgeous Bass River, Breezes offers indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, live entertainment weekly, daily menu specials, and a fabulous menu including items such as lobster mac & cheese, blackened salmon sandwiches, and (our favorite) fish tacos.  If you decided to take your boat to the Seaport, you can hop right back in it for a quick cruise to Breezes and dock right alongside the restaurant at their transient docks!  Of course, driving is always an option, too.  Call ahead to see what’s up for the week at Breezes (609)296-0372.
