Round Trip Ferry
from Beach Haven

Enjoy a scenic one-hour tour across the Little Egg Harbor Bay. The Tuckerton Seaport / Beach Haven Water Ferry will operate from July 4th weekend and will run throughout the summer.

The Water Ferry is limited to 28 people per ride, guests must be over 2 years old. Anyone under the age of 12 is required to wear a Coast Guard Approved personal flotation device, which we provide. There is a possibility of getting wet while on board the LBI Water Ferry which includes the possibility of rain, the Ferry runs rain or shine and is subject to cancel rides due to inclement weather at the Captain’s discretion.
 

You may also bring your bicycle on board, but there is a limit of two (2) bicycles on the boat. Reserve a spot for your bike here.

Guests must be checked in at the dock 15 minutes prior to departure. After that time all seats will be released. There is no guarantee that late guests can be accommodated as the ferry runs on a strict schedule.

Enjoy this one-hour tour as a Seaport Tour Guide tells stories about the legends and lore of the Jersey Shore and Pinelands. Ghost stories, haunted shore stops await as you decide if these tales are fact or urban legend.
 
Keep an eye out, because you might even see Mrs. Leed’s 13th child!

Enjoy this narrated tour down the Tuckerton Creek. Listen to guides talk about holiday traditions both past and present and maybe even see some Christmas lights out on the bay.
 
Bring your hot cocoa and blankets, it gets chilly out on the water!

Join VP of Southern Ocean Birding Group, Josh Gant, on a narrated boat tour from Tuckerton up to the mouth of Mullica. Traveling through Great Bay, participants will be on the look out for flocks of Egrets and Herons. See Snowy Egret and tri-colored Heron before they head south for the winter.

Birding Boat Tour: Brants on Great Bay
Saturday, November 23rd

Join President of the Atlantic Audubon Society, Josht Gant, to tour the marshes surrounding Great Bay Blvd. You’ve seen them from the road, but now is your opportunity to see them from the bayside! Aboard the boat, Josh will point out where to spot Brant which should be abundant during their Fall Migration as well as other waterfowl. 
Fun Fact; Brant migrate further North than any other American Geese.

Birding Boat Tour: Winter Waterfowl
December 6th 
10:00am-12:00pm
Join VP of Southern Ocean Birding Group, Josh Gant, on a narrated boat tour from Tuckerton to Holgate. Participants will be on the lookout for Winter Waterfowl including Grebes and Loons. Sightings cannot be guarunteed but it is likely we will see a variety of waterfowl and shorebirds.
Fun Fact: A group of Loons is called a raft. A group of Grebes is called a water dance.

December 7th

Join the Tuckerton Seaport for Baymen’s Brunch and Creek Tour on Saturday, December 7th. Brunch will be hosted at Cuisine on the Green. Tickets also include a guided one hour Creek Tour and admission to the museum. Guests will select their Creek Tour time during check out. Creek Tours will depart from the Lighthouse Dock at Tuckerton Seaport

 
Join us for a narrated tour of the Tuckerton Creek aboard the Floating Classroom, a thirty foot pontoon boat! A Seaport tour guide and captain will discuss the coastal culture of the Barnegat Bay and Pinelands including folk art, history, and the environment on Tuckerton Creek and lower Barnegat Bay. Tours will last between 45 minutes to one hour.

Join Master Carver Jode Hillman of Hillman decoys for an intensive two-day class: on Sunday February 16th and 23rd. 

 

Students will learn the methods and techniques needed to carve and paint a Drake Harlequin Duck. 

 

Prior carving experience is required!
